The 21 and 22 of June, PiovanGroup will participate as official sponsor in the sixth edition of the Packaging & Recycling Forum that will be held at the Alfa Romeo Historical Museum in Arese (MI).

The event is dedicated to plastic packaging: from design to post-consumer recycling, in order to meet the criteria of the circular economy and environmental sustainability that predict the transformation of waste into a precious resource.

This forum is an important update event for packaging manufacturers, recyclers and technology providers looking for new solutions that combine high performance and respect for the environment.

On the second day of the event, at 2.15 p.m., Pavel Andrushchuk, Division Manager - Recycling at Piovan, will deliver a speech entitled “Solutions to packaging production problems with recycled plastic”. The presentation will discuss the challenges processors face in using recycled plastics. The use of PCR plastics for packaging production entails various challenges that can lead to a reduction in the quality of the end product, increased maintenance costs and process instability. Piovan will demonstrate how to maximise production, end-product quality and ensure robust and traceable processes in an Industry 4.0 context.

Throughout the event, Piovan will be present at the stand 13 to showcase the latest technological innovations for recycling.
