On the 11th and 12th of June, PiovanGroup will participate as an official sponsor in the 7th edition of the Packaging & Recycling Forum, which will be held at the Alfa Romeo Historical Museum in Arese (MI)

The event focuses on the lifecycle of plastic packaging, from design through to post-consumer recycling. It aims to meet the principles of the circular economy and environmental sustainability, emphasizing the transformation of waste into valuable resources.

This forum is a key event for packaging manufacturers, recyclers, and technology providers seeking high-performance, eco-friendly solutions.

On the first day of the event, at 2.30 p.m., Pavel Andrushchuk, Division Manager - Recycling at Piovan, will deliver a speech entitled “Improving the use of post-consumer plastics: from VOC removal to traceable batch production”. The presentation will discuss how the increasingly widespread use of post-consumer plastics requires constant improvement of production processes and the adoption of technological measures to ensure high-quality standards, proper plant functioning, and prevention of unwanted substances from irreparably contaminating the finished product. This includes considerations regarding organoleptic aspects such as odor and emissions in the automotive sector, as well as the presence of substances like benzene and acetaldehyde in food packaging.

During the presentation, Piovan will present how to deal with VOCs, using innovative technologies that minimise energy consumption, reduce waste and inefficiencies in the production process, and save resin, time and energy.

Throughout the event, Piovan will be present at stand 13 to showcase its latest technological innovations in recycling. Attendees will have the opportunity to see firsthand the advanced solutions Piovan offers to enhance recycling processes and support sustainable practices within the industry.
