Role: Project Engineering Manager
Location: Cranberry Township, PA or Franklin, PA
Job Overview
In this role, you will seek to implement and drive best practices in areas such as systems order engineering and drawings, installation estimating, contractor bids and deployment, installation practices, startup, and commissioning of the project without repeat trips for corrections. In this supervisory role, you will direct, coach, train and review the work of others. This will include other System design engineers, Estimators, Mechanical designers, and other supporting staff, as assigned.
As a working manager, you will assume complete responsibility for system projects from a technical support standpoint. You will also support our estimating process and implement new efficient ways of operating as developed. This role includes project engineering ticket organization and prioritization working with our manager of project management, along with continuous development of team capabilities to support our sales and project teams with technical assistance.
The Project Engineering and Estimating Manager will often be called upon to perform application reviews on complex systems, to verify accuracy and optimal system performance helping to solve complex issues efficiently. Candidates are proficient in initiating and leading Continuous Improvement activities with a record of positive results.
This position reports to the Sr. Director, Sales Operations, and is in either Cranberry Township or Franklin, Pennsylvania; in some cases, remote work is accepted.
Key Responsibilities
- Half year and annual performance reviews and goal planning.
- Meets on a regular basis (weekly minimum) with each direct report, to review
progress versus goals.
