PiovanGroup with its brands Piovan, Doteco, Pelletron and Thermal Care will be present at the Expo Plásticos exhibition in Guadalajara, Mexico from 5 to 7 November 2024. This exhibition and business forum specializes in showcasing the most advanced technology in machinery, raw materials, peripheral equipment and plastic solutions for all industries.

At the stand 1112, the Group will present an overview of the latest technological innovations in conveying, dedusting, drying, blending, granulation, temperature control, heat transfer, industrial cooling, contaminant analysis and supervision.

For feeding & conveying solutions, stand 1112 will feature:
• S55 single phase hopper loader
• C15 three-phase receiver
• F48 vacuum unit
• Ryng, solution for real time production monitoring.

As for drying technologies, in Guadalajara the Group will be exhibiting: the DPA, a compressed air dryer that can reach dew point values down to -40 °C; the DP620, a double desiccant tower designed to guarantee the correct drying of plastic materials, making them ideal for precision applications; and the TN300 drying hopper that is characterised by optimum ratio between height and diameter for proper heat exchange.

Size reduction systems will be on display: the stand will feature G17 granulators, designed to produce regrind of the most homogeneous shape and size, with a minimum presence of dust.

Piovan will show innovations such as Moisture Minder, the solution for the in-line measurement of the moisture in the plastic granules with full traceability and monitoring of the production process.

Easypure will be on display: a 3D scenario will allow visitors to discover the unique features of this innovative odour removal system. Easypure can be equipped with Odor Minder, the electronic nose designed to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the deodorization process.

In the field of dosing systems, Doteco will be exhibiting Grado Adroit, a gravimetric batch blender designed to blend free flowing pellets in processes which require accurate dosing and repeatability with efficient mixing.

Thermal Care brand will also display the Slim SCA 4311 air-cooled portable chiller, designed to assure maximum flexibility and energy efficient functioning; and Easytherm, the full range of temperature controllers available in the following versions:
• Open System – Up to 90 °C
• High Flow & High Pressure – Up to 140 °C
• Pressurised Water – Up to 180 °C
• Oil – Up to 250 °C.

Visitors will also be able to experience a live demo of Winfactory 4.0, the Smart Factory supervision software designed by Piovan to increase plant productivity and optimize product quality.

Finally, there will also be an opportunity for virtual reality exploration of two 3D systems for PET and film applications.
