From March 4th to 6th, Piovan Penta and Piovan Fea will present the most innovative technologies for the bakery, confectionery, chocolate, ice cream and cream industries at CFIA in Rennes at Stand 2-D39 in Hall 2.3. The CFIA Rennes trade show is a key event in the food processing industry, where leading companies present their solutions for handling and processing food ingredients and packaging.
Piovan Penta and Piovan Fea are companies of the PiovanGroup specialized in the design and construction of fully customized turnkey plants for the processing of food ingredients in powder, liquid and cream form. Our expertise includes storage, pneumatic conveying in both dense and dilute phases, dehumidification, sieving, dosing, mixing, and process monitoring and control.
Here are just a few of our innovative technologies include:
- Flour air cooling – To ensure that the quality of the finished product remains constant throughout the year, whatever the outside temperature and the geographical location of the production plant, Piovan Penta offers a solution that cools the flour with air, without the use of carbon dioxide, efficiently reaching the lowest temperatures required by the customer. Air cooling technology guarantees maximum safety for the operator and reduced maintenance costs.
- Electrostatic coating – Piovan Fea has patented an electrostatic coating technology for the application of fine and coarse food powders to sweet and savoury products. An electrostatic dispenser creates an electric field between itself and the substrate to which the powder is applied. The powder passes through the electric field and becomes negatively charged. The product to which the coating is to be applied is electrically grounded, allowing the powder to adhere permanently and firmly.
- Dosing – Piovan Penta designs and manufactures a range of loss-in-weight dosing units that guarantee absolute precision and a flow without stagnation thanks to the spherical arc breaker and similar container geometry. The possibility of creating a premix between different ingredients through continuous dosing is also provided. The dosing of micro-ingredients, such as inclusions or other additives, is made possible by digital load cells. Dosing systems can also be combined with barcode systems for full traceability of raw materials.
During the exhibition, Piovan Fea will display the new Pigging System, a fully automatic bi-directional solution for cleaning and emptying pipes. This innovative system guarantees production traceability, minimizes the risk of cross-contamination, allows the recovery of valuable raw materials, and integrates seamlessly with CIP systems.
Furthermore, Piovan Penta will exhibit the PowderBreak-lump breaker, an advanced solution for the homogenization of powders and micro-granules in the food industry.
