The Plastics Recycling Show Europe (PRSE) is the leading event dedicated to the plastics recycling sector in Europe. This year it will be held from 19 to 20 June at the RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. It features an extensive exhibition where the biggest names in recycled materials, recycling machinery and services showcase the latest industry innovations. The conference, featuring key industry figures, will discuss the current opportunities and challenges facing the European plastics recycling industry.

The event encompasses the entire supply chain, starting from the design of raw materials and design for recycling, to the collection, sorting, and recycling of industrial, commercial, agricultural, post-consumer, and ocean plastics. It follows the journey through to the incorporation of recycled polymers into new products and applications.

At stand X14 the PiovanGroup team will be pleased to discuss with visitors both the latest solutions for recycling post-consumer plastics and the most innovative technologies for producing with recycled plastics. Featured technologies on display:

• Easypure – Through a 3D environment, the visitors may see the unique features of Easypure, the odor removing system that allows a significant improvement in the quality of the recycled material, being integrated in the process of mechanical recycling, after the pelletising phase. Easypure can be equipped with OdorMinder that provides an immediate evaluation of the effectiveness of the odor removal process from the treated granule and thanks to its sensors and, following adequate “training”, is able to detect up to 25 odorous substances. It is characterised by: high sensitivity, high selectivity, good time stability, and high reactivity to gas presence.
• C200S – The multi-purpose three-phase pellet receiver range with capacities from 2 to 200 litres.  Constructed from durable stainless steel for long life. Cleaning is effective and quick with connected electrical cables and vacuum lines. These receivers are suitable for common materials but are also available in configurations for abrasive materials or those that need to be conveyed at high temperatures.

Additionally, on the second day of the show, the winner of 2024 Sustainabilty Awards will be announced. PiovanGroup is honored to participate with Condenso, the Piovan new oil condenser designed to condense the low boiling substances released from the recycled plastic during the heating process. This recognition underscores our commitment to sustainability, especially in the field of plastics recycling.
